In one more reaffirmation that the Spanish female golf draws an exciting future, Carolina López Chacarra and Paula Martín got into the US Open, the second big one of the season that will be held from May 29 to June 1 in Erin Hills (Wisconsin).
Both, still amateurs, were classified through the previous phases that were held on Monday. Carolina, imitating his brother Eugenio who has entered the PGA Championship for the Asian tour, won the Duke sector, in which 78 players participated with only two places at stake, while Martín did it in The Olympic, where three positions were distributed among 84 players. He was third beating Andrea Revuelta, who has remained as a reserve.
Both will join the already classified Carlota Ciganda and Carla Bernat, this for their brand new victory in the Anwa, the female masters, at the beginning of April. The most American classification phase concludes on May 13.
