Two Teenage Girls Found Dead Hanging from Tree in Sarlahi

Two teenage girls were found dead, hanging from a mango tree in Ramvan, Ward-5 of Godaita Municipality in Sarlahi district.

According to the District Police Office, Sarlahi, the deceased have been identified as approximately 15-year-old Sangita Kumari, daughter of Binod Das of Sisauta, Ramnagar-6, and approximately 17-year-old Nagina Kumari Das, daughter of her uncle Indrajit Das.

Police spokesperson and DSP Saroj Rai said both girls were found hanging from the mango tree. Locals spotted them and immediately informed the police.

The bodies have been sent to the Provincial Hospital in Malangwa for post-mortem examination. Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
