Italy’s Thomas Draca Joins Lumbini Lions for Nepal Premier League Season 2

Italy’s fast bowler Thomas Draca has signed with the Lumbini Lions for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The team announced that the 27-year-old Italian bowler will join them for the upcoming tournament.

Thomas, a right-arm fast bowler, has played seven T20 International matches for Italy and taken eight wickets. He played a key role in helping Italy qualify for their first-ever T20 World Cup.

Draca has also played in franchise leagues for Brampton Wolves and MI Emirates. Last year, he made history by becoming the first Italian player to register for the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.

For NPL, Thomas is the second foreign player signed by Lumbini Lions. Earlier, the team had already signed Australian batter D’Arcy Short.
