Janakpur Bolts Claim First NPL Win

Janakpur Bolts earned their first win in the Nepal Premier League (NPL) after half-centuries from Maj Sadaqat and Anil Kumar Sah. With this victory, Janakpur still has a chance to reach the playoffs.

In their fifth match played on Tuesday, Janakpur defeated Chitwan Rhinos by 6 wickets. Chitwan had set a target of 177 runs, and Janakpur reached it by scoring 180 runs in 17.3 overs, losing four wickets.

With the win, Janakpur added two points to the standings. Chitwan, meanwhile, suffered their third loss and have four points from five matches.

Janakpur will now play against Lumbini Lions and Karnali Yaks. To qualify for the playoffs, Janakpur must win the remaining matches by big margins.
