Leganés: Franquesa, successfully operated on for his torn anterior cruciate ligament

Club Deportivo Leganés has confirmed that Enric Franquesa underwent satisfactory surgery for his torn anterior cruciate ligament by Dr. Leyes and his team. Let us remember that the Leganés left back was seriously injured in the last match that the pepineros played against Sevilla.

Franquesa’s was the third cruciate to break this day in LaLiga, with injuries also to Militao and Akhomach. Enric’s recovery after the operation is already underway, but the process of his return to the playing fields will be long. The time off is estimated to be, at a minimum, between 6 and 8 months.

His long-term absence makes reinforcement for the left back essential. The club’s Sports Director, Txema Indias, stated that this signing for the winter market will be one of the main objectives. The alternatives until then are Javi Hernández and Altimira, a center back and a right back to act as Franquesa.
