One Dead in Bus Accident in Kanchanpur

One person has died in a bus accident in Kanchanpur.
According to police, the accident happened on Saturday morning at Bani, Krishnapur Municipality-2, along the East-West Highway. The bus, with the number Na 7 Kha 6182, was involved in the crash.

The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Bal Bahadur Bohara from Band, Krishnapur. Police spokesperson DSP Tek Bahadur Jora from the Sudurpaschim Province Traffic Police Office said Bohara was rescued in an injured condition but died during treatment at Bani Hospital.

There were five people on the bus at the time of the accident. The driver, Ramesh Bohara, aged 46 from Bedkot Municipality-3, Daiji, had fled after the crash but was later taken into police custody.
