SY Panel Opens IPO for General Public from Wednesday

SY Panel has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) for the general public from Wednesday.

Earlier, shares were distributed to Nepalis working abroad and locals affected by the project. After that, the company opened the IPO for general investors. The issue and sales manager for the IPO is Prabhu Capital.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 50,000 shares. Applications can be submitted online through the Mero Share system or from ASBA member banks and financial institutions. The application period will remain open until Kartik 23.

The company is issuing 40 percent of its total capital of 1.308 billion rupees, that is, 5,232,548 shares for the general public.

After allocating shares to project-affected locals, Nepalis working abroad, and mutual funds, 4,076,156 shares are available for the general public.

The company’s head office is in Tinkune, Kathmandu, and its factory is located in Ratnanagar 14. According to the company, its products are sold through around 50 dealers across the country.

Based on the unaudited financial statement for the fiscal year 2081/82, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) is Rs. 8.81, net worth per share is Rs. 115.42, and total retained earnings stand at Rs. 121 million.
