Tractor Overturns in Palpa, Driver Killed

A tractor accident in Rampur of Palpa district has claimed the life of its driver, police said.

According to Hom Prakash Chaudhary, information officer at the District Police Office, Palpa, the incident occurred in Gailuk, Ward No. 3 of Rampur Municipality. The victim has been identified as 52-year-old Tek Bahadur Ale of Bangepasal, Ward No. 4 in the same municipality.

The accident took place on Monday while Ale was ploughing a field to plant maize. The tractor, bearing registration number Lu 3 Ta 725, overturned during the process. Police said the vehicle went out of control while in operation, trapping Ale underneath.

He died on the spot due to the injuries sustained in the incident. Ale was also the owner of the tractor.

Police have stated that further investigation into the accident is ongoing.
