Journalist Dipendra Khaniya Found Dead in Baneshwor House

Journalist Dipendra Khaniya has been found dead. He was the operator of Radio Audio FM and was discovered dead on Sunday.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Kumar Bhattarai of the Kathmandu District Police Office, Khaniya was found at the house of Rishikesh Bhatt in Baneshwor. “He was found hanging from an electric wire on the railing of the fourth floor of a five-storey house,” SP Bhattarai said. His body has been taken to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, for a post-mortem examination.

SP Bhattarai also said that Khaniya had sold that house to Bhatt only a short time ago. Even after selling it, he had been living on rent on the fourth floor of the same house.
