Fire Engulfs Plastic Factory in Biratnagar

A fire broke out at the Saraswati Plastic Industry, located in Ward 7 of Biratnagar Metropolitan City, early Tuesday morning. The blaze started in an area where raw materials used for plastic manufacturing were stored.

The fire began around 9:15 a.m. and was successfully brought under control by approximately 11:00 a.m. Multiple fire tenders were deployed to extinguish the flames, including two from Biratnagar Metropolitan City and one each from the nearby Duhabi, Sundar Haraicha, and Belbari municipalities.

According to the Morang District Police Office, the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. Authorities are currently in the process of assessing and compiling the total extent of the damage.
