Power Cuts Today in Pashupati, Airport, and Mitrapark Kathmandu Areas

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) will cut power today in several areas, including Pashupatinath area, the airport, Mitrapark, and Battisputali.

According to the Baneshwor Distribution Center, the Underground and Strengthening Distribution Project has requested a power cut from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM in these areas.

Electricity will be off in the following places:

• Mitrapark Pashupati College area
• Airport feeder area, including the Drainage Kiwass Project and up to the Army Barracks at the airport
• Under the Battisputali feeder, from Chabahil Dirghayu Hospital to Jayabageshwori and up to the Pashupatinath Temple

Similarly, under the New Chabahil Newbasti feeder, the project will cut power from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM in:

• Mitrapark area
• Chabahil Chowk
• Gaurighat Chowk
• The entire Newbasti area

The NEA has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the power outage. It also said that if the work is finished earlier than planned, electricity will be restored sooner.
