22 Hurt as Dadeldhura–Kathmandu Bus Accident in Dang

A bus traveling from Dadeldhura to Kathmandu met with an accident in Dang, injuring 22 passengers.

The bus, with registration number Na 8 Kha 7455, crashed at around 3 AM today. It fell off the Kaudiya Bridge area in Lamahi Municipality–1, along the East–West Highway in Dang Deukhuri.

According to Inspector Roshan Raj Pandey of the Lamahi Police Office, 22 injured passengers were rescued from the accident site and taken to Lamahi Hospital. There were 38 people on the bus.

The bus driver told the police that the suspension rod broke, causing the bus to lose control and crash. Inspector Pandey said the police are still investigating the accident.
