Several Killed in Bondi Beach Shooting in Australia

Gunfire has broken out at Bondi Beach in Australia. New South Wales Police have confirmed that several people have died, but they have not said how many.

According to the BBC, police have taken two people into custody. Two police officers were also injured in the incident. Police have asked the public to stay away from the area.

In a post on X, police said that two people are in police custody, but the operation is still ongoing. They requested people not to go near the area, to follow all police instructions, and not to cross police barricades.

Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) reported that police are investigating reports of an “active shooter.” Seven News said local residents heard gunshots and saw hundreds of people running away from the area.
