Man Dies After Falling From Tree in Makwanpur

A young man has died after falling from a tree in Manahari Rural Municipality-7 of Makwanpur.

Police said the incident happened at around 8 am on Friday at the local Mankamana Community Forest. Thirty-five-year-old Suresh Lama fell while cutting branches from a saj tree. He was originally from Raksirang Rural Municipality-8, Tokcherang, and was living in Lama Tole of Manahari-7.

Lama was seriously injured in the fall and was rescued and taken to Hetauda Hospital for treatment. Police said he died during treatment at around 10:20 am.
