Intern Dead Falling From Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar

A 34-year-old medical intern, identified as Dr. Amit Yadav, died Sunday morning after falling from the fifth floor of Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 AM, according to local authorities.

Medical personnel at the facility immediately provided emergency treatment to Dr. Yadav following the fall. Despite these medical interventions, he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter during the course of his treatment.

Dr. Yadav was a resident of Jagadari in the Rajbiraj Municipality of Saptari. Having completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, he had been serving as an intern at Nobel Medical College for several months.

District Police Office Morang spokesperson, DSP Kopila Chudal, stated that an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the fall. Preliminary police reports suggest that Dr. Yadav may have been experiencing mental health challenges prior to the incident.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the fall was accidental or intentional. Investigators remain on-site at Nobel Medical College to gather evidence and interview witnesses to clarify the cause of the tragedy.
