Balaju Truck-motorcycle accident kills one

A fatal road accident occurred late Wednesday night in the Balaju area of Kathmandu, resulting in one fatality and leaving another individual in critical condition. The incident took place at approximately 10:30 PM near the Baisdhara Gate.

According to authorities, a truck with the registration number Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 3454 collided with a motorcycle. The impact of the collision led to the immediate death of one person involved, while a second individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported for emergency medical care.

The Balaju Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident to manage traffic and secure the area. Officials confirmed that the truck involved in the collision has been taken into police custody as part of the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.

Local law enforcement is currently working to identify the victims and inform their families.
