One Killed, Three Injured in Salyan Jeep Crash

A pickup jeep accident in Chorkhola, Ward No. 3 of Kapurkot Rural Municipality in Salyan, has claimed one life.

The pickup jeep (registration number Ga 1 Ja 3561), which was traveling from Sisne Rural Municipality in Eastern Rukum to Dang, met with an accident in Chorkhola.

According to Kapurkot Police Post, 31-year-old Vijay Bishwakarma of Amalachaura, Ward No. 4 in Sisne Rural Municipality, died on the spot. Police said Bishwakarma was the driver of the vehicle.

The jeep was carrying a patient, and there were four people on board including the driver. The accident occurred at around 4:45 a.m., police reported.

Two women and one child were injured in the accident. The injured were rescued and given first aid at the basic hospital of Kapurkot Rural Municipality. Police said they were later referred to Tulsipur, Dang for further treatment.
