Nepal Face Scotland in Final ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Match

Nepal, already eliminated from the group stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, will face Scotland in their final match of the tournament.

The Group C match between Nepal and Scotland will be played at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium, starting at 7:15 PM (Nepal time).

Since both Nepal and Scotland have already been knocked out before this final game, both teams will be aiming to end their World Cup campaign on a positive note with a win.

Nepal, who have played all three of their matches at Wankhede Stadium, suffered defeats in all of them. They lost their opening match to England by 4 runs, followed by a heavy 10-wicket loss to debutants Italy. In their third match, Nepal were beaten by West Indies by 9 wickets, which confirmed their exit from the group stage.

Scotland began their T20 World Cup journey with a victory over Italy in their first match. However, after losing their next two matches, Scotland were also eliminated before their final game after England defeated Italy in the previous match.

Nepal are the only winless team in Group C and will be hoping to defeat Scotland in the last match to give their supporters something to cheer about.

Nepal last won a match in the T20 World Cup in 2014 in Bangladesh, where they defeated Hong Kong and Afghanistan. However, they have failed to secure a single win in the last two World Cups. As a result, Nepal are searching for their first T20 World Cup victory in 12 years.

So far, Nepal and Scotland have played two T20I matches against each other, with both teams winning one match each.
