Nepal Embassy in Tel Aviv Urges Nationals to Exercise Extreme Caution Amid Rising Israel–Iran Tensions

The Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv has issued a security advisory urging Nepali nationals in Israel to take heightened precautions, as tensions between Israel and Iran continue to escalate and the wider security situation across the Middle East deteriorates.

In a notice released on Saturday, the embassy said it was closely monitoring recent developments following joint military operations by the United States and Israel, which have heightened fears of broader regional instability.

The embassy called on all Nepali citizens to strictly follow instructions issued by Israel’s Home Front Command and other local security authorities. It advised people to avoid unnecessary travel, remain vigilant at all times, and ensure they have immediate access to designated shelters or bunkers in case of emergency.

Nationals were also urged to rely only on official sources of information and to remain in regular contact with fellow Nepalis, particularly in the event of sudden security incidents.

The advisory comes amid growing concerns that the conflict could widen, with visible impacts already being felt across parts of the Middle East. The embassy warned citizens not to travel anywhere without prior clearance and to prioritise personal safety above all else.

There has been increasing international concern over the potential for further escalation, as cross-border strikes and retaliatory threats raise the risk of a broader confrontation in the region.
