Newly elected members of the House of Representatives have taken their oath of office. The ceremony was held at the temporary parliament building in Singha Durbar.

The senior member of the House, Arjun Narasingh KC, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the members.

According to the Parliamentary Secretariat, 63 members took the oath in languages other than Nepali.

The parliamentarians attended the ceremony in their traditional attire, reflecting the diversity of the country.
