AI Conference to Be Held in Kathmandu on January 10–11

An AI conference is set to take place in Kathmandu on January 10 and 11, organized by Web Weekend Kathmandu. The event will bring together AI engineers, designers, founders, and technology experts from Nepal and abroad.

The conference will focus on how AI is applied in real-world products and systems, as well as discussions on AI safety, evaluation, and governance. Experienced speakers working in healthcare, education, design, security, and infrastructure will share their practical insights and experiences.

Speakers from countries including Spain, the United States, Thailand, and Hong Kong are expected to attend, along with notable participation from engineers working in Nepal. A special panel discussion titled “Who Is Responsible for AI Within a Company?” will also be held during the event.

The conference aims to provide Nepalese professionals, who may find it difficult to attend international events, with access to world-class knowledge and networking opportunities in Kathmandu. More than 400 participants are expected to attend.
