APF FC Plays Goalless Draw Against Transport United Ladies in SAFF Women’s Club Championship

In the ongoing SAFF Women’s Club Championship in Kathmandu, Nepal’s APF FC played a 0-0 draw against Bhutan’s Transport United Ladies.

The match took place on Thursday evening at Dasharath Stadium. Both teams tried but could not score any goals.

APF dominated ball possession and made 12 shot attempts, with 4 shots on target, but still failed to score.

With this draw, APF now has 4 points from 2 matches and is in second place. In their first match, APF had defeated Bangladesh’s Nasrin Sports Academy 4-0.

APF still has two matches left — against Karachi City and East Bengal. East Bengal is currently at the top of the points table with 6 points from 2 wins in 2 games.

Karachi City and Transport United both have 2 points, while Nasrin Sports Academy has 1 point.

At the end of the round-robin league, the top two teams will compete in the final for the title.
