In a traffic collision next to Salakpur Bazaar in Sundarharaicha–8, Morang, Belbari teacher Kamal Koirala passed away. When a bus and a motorcycle collided, Koirala suffered serious injuries. While receiving treatment at Koshi Zonal Hospital, he passed away.

Koirala taught at Kaseni Secondary School in Belbari-4, and his sudden passing has caused great sadness.
