Dhading Accident Update: Seven Vehicles Crash in Dhunibesi; Rescue Ongoing

Seven vehicles were involved in an accident at Chalise, Dhunibesi-6, along the Prithvi Highway in Dhading.

The crash included a school bus, three other buses, two trucks, and a motorcycle. According to DSP Prakash Dahal of the Dhading District Police Office, the accident happened after a truck with an Indian number plate lost its brakes and hit the other vehicles.

Police and locals have rescued the injured. The road is currently blocked because of the accident.

Journalist Ashish Thakuri, who is at the scene, said that most passengers in two of the buses were injured. The injured people have been taken to nearby health centers and some to Kathmandu for treatment. Police are working to clear the vehicles and reopen the road.
