First Snowfall of the Year at Pathibhara Temple

The famous Pathibhara temple area in Taplejung has received its first snowfall of the year. The snow began falling on Friday night.

There was light rain during the day on Friday, which turned into snow by the evening. Rajendra Mahat, an employee of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, said that the temperature in the area has dropped significantly due to the light snowfall.

With the weather getting colder, the committee has asked pilgrims to take precautions to stay warm and safe. Reports state that the snowfall has had a minor effect on the movement of pilgrims traveling to the area.

However, the snow also brought joy to visitors. Pilgrims who arrived in the morning were able to worship at the temple and also had the chance to play in the snow. Despite the cold weather, a large crowd of devotees has gathered at the temple since early morning.
