Huge Crowd at TU Cricket Ground for NPL Final

On Saturday, Sudurpaschim Royals and Lumbini Lions are competing for the title at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Ground.

There is a huge crowd at the stadium. All seats in the stands are full as the final is being played under floodlights for the first time, and all tickets were sold out.

Many people who could not get tickets also came to Kirtipur and the Tribhuvan University area. They said they came hoping to find tickets or even to watch the match by climbing trees around the stadium.

For security reasons, police closed the main gate at 12 noon and allowed entry through other routes. Earlier in the morning, there was some chaos as people protested after failing to get tickets.
