Kailali Boosts Security at India Border

Security checks have been tightened at the Nepal–India border points connected to Kailali. People entering Nepal from India in these areas are now being checked more strictly.

According to Shivraj Joshi, the information officer at the District Administration Office, the stricter checks were introduced because unknown or suspicious individuals and groups might try to enter Nepal illegally.

He said, “Security checks have been tightened due to security concerns. If anyone sees suspicious people or groups entering the district, please inform the nearest security office.”

The District Administration Office has also requested the public not to allow unknown people or groups to stay in their homes or involve them in any work.
