A moderate earthquake was recorded with its epicenter located near the Saipal region of Bajhang District. The tremor occurred on Sunday at 12:09 PM local time.

According to the Surkhet Seismological Center, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale, centered near Saipal Himal.

The shaking was also reportedly felt in the neighboring district of Bajura. No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been confirmed.
