Mustang Air Helicopter Missing in Langtang with Five On Board

A helicopter operated by Mustang Air has gone missing in the Langtang area of Rasuwa, with five people on board.

According to Managing Director Ronan Lamichhane, the helicopter was carrying a total of five individuals, including the pilot. He said that no further details are available at the moment, as the area has no reliable telephone connectivity, making communication difficult.

Sources from the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal stated that the helicopter has been out of contact since around 1:30 pm.

Meanwhile, Assistant Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, Dhruva Prasad Adhikari, said that efforts are underway to gather more information. He added that authorities are coordinating with the Nepal Army and police teams stationed in the upper region, but no additional updates have been received so far.
