Nepal Claims Second Win in U-19 Women’s CAVA Volleyball Championship

Nepal has won its second straight match in the Kava U-19 Women’s Volleyball Championship 2025, being held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

On Thursday, Nepal defeated the Maldives in straight sets in its third and final league match. The scores were 25-7, 25-10, and 25-11. With this victory, Nepal has collected 7 points from three matches.

The tournament features four teams and is being played in a single round-robin format. After the league stage, the top four teams will move to the semifinals. The first-ranked team will play against the fourth, and the second will face the third.

The final league match between Kyrgyzstan and Sri Lanka will decide the final rankings. Currently, Nepal is in first place with 7 points, followed by Kyrgyzstan with 5 points and Sri Lanka with 3. If Sri Lanka beats Kyrgyzstan, Nepal will remain in first place and play against the Maldives in the semifinals.
