Nepal vs Thailand: Thailand Opt to Bowl First in Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier

Nepal have lost the toss in their opening match of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier.

Thailand captain Naruemol Chaiwai won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Placed in Group B of the tournament, Nepal will face Thailand, the Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and Scotland. The top three teams from the group will advance to the Super Six stage. From there, teams must finish in the top four to secure qualification for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

Nepal have a historic opportunity to achieve World Cup qualification while playing on home soil.
