NPL: Pokhara and Chitwan Face Must-Win Games

The second edition of the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament will feature two matches today.

At the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, the matches will be played between Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Gorkhas, and between Sudurpashchim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos.

The first match between Pokhara Avengers and Kathmandu Gorkhas will start at 11:45 AM. The second match, starting at 4 PM, will be between Sudurpashchim Royals and Chitwan Rhinos.

Kathmandu has earned 8 points from 6 matches, while Pokhara has only 4 points from 5 matches. Therefore, Pokhara must win today’s match to keep their chances of reaching the playoffs alive.

Chitwan, with 4 points from 5 matches, also needs a win to stay in the playoff race. Sudurpashchim, however, has already reached the playoffs and is at the top of the table with 10 points.
