NPL: Pokhara Chooses to Bowl Against Kathmandu

In the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) being held in Kathmandu, today’s first match is between the Pokhara Avengers and the Kathmandu Gorkhas.

At the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Pokhara won the toss and chose to bowl first. Pokhara has only 4 points from 5 matches, so they must win today to keep their chances of reaching the playoffs.

Kathmandu has collected 8 points from 6 matches. They want to win their last league match to secure a place in the playoffs.

The second match today, at 4 PM, will be between the Sudurpashchim Royals and the Chitwan Rhinos.

The tournament, which started on Mangsir 1, features eight teams.
