One Killed, Three Injured in Motorcycle accident in Rupandehi

One person was killed and three others injured in a collision between two motorcycles in Rupandehi’s Tilottama Municipality–2, Tapaha Line area.

According to police, the accident occurred on Thursday afternoon when a motorcycle bearing registration number Lu 61 Pa 5878 collided with another motorcycle, Lu 68 Pa 5236, on the road.

Police identified the deceased as 28-year-old Jivan Chaudhary of Sainamaina Municipality–1, Sadbhodra, who was riding the Lu 68 Pa 5236 motorcycle. He sustained serious injuries in the crash and died during treatment at Chauraha Hospital.

Two passengers on the Lu 61 Pa 5878 motorcycle and one passenger on the Lu 68 Pa 5236 motorcycle were injured in the accident and are currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.

Police said further investigation into the incident is underway.
