Two Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) pilots, Instructor Pilot Vijay Lama and Senior Captain Sony Rana, have been grounded by the aviation regulatory body. The Nepal Civil Aviation Authority (CAAN) took disciplinary action against both captains for violating rules that prohibit photography and videography within the cockpit during flight operations.

The Authority stated that both Captain Lama and Captain Rana are prohibited from operating aircraft until further notice is issued. It was noted that Captain Lama has previously faced disciplinary action for the same offense on multiple occasions.
