RSP Leaders’ Car Vandalized in Gorkha

A car belonging to leaders of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been vandalized.

The incident occurred in Kamaltar, Ward No. 3 of Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality in Gorkha, where party leaders had arrived to attend a ward-level convention. The car was being used by RSP central committee member Prakash Chandra Pariyar, along with Dhanej Thapa and Prakash Lamichhane.

According to Gorkha District Police Office Superintendent of Police Bharat Bahadur Bik, the vehicle—registered in the name of Dhanej Thapa—was vandalized on Thursday night at the location where it had been parked. The car bears the registration number Bagmati Province 025 Cha 7030.

SP Bik stated that the vandalism may have been carried out by someone under the influence of alcohol during the Maghe Sankranti festival celebrations, as the car’s windows were found broken.
