Two Key Matches Scheduled in NPL Today

A victory in today’s fixture would significantly bolster Chitwan’s chances for a playoff spot, as they have remaining matches against Sudurpaschim Royals and Pokhara Avengers.

Conversely, the Janakpur Bolts have yet to register a win in their four matches, having suffered defeats against the Kathmandu Gorkhas, Biratnagar Kings, Pokhara Avengers, and Sudurpaschim Royals. A loss today would eliminate Janakpur from playoff contention. The team is aiming for a crucial win to maintain a mathematical possibility of advancing.

The second match of the day is scheduled for 4:00 PM and will feature the Pokhara Avengers taking on the Karnali Yaks. This match is also critical for both teams’ aspirations to reach the playoff stage. Pokhara, with one victory from four matches, seeks a win to improve its standing in the tournament. The Karnali Yaks, having secured only one victory in five matches, face elimination if they are defeated in this contest.
