ANFA Postpones Elections Following NSC Suspension

The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has postponed its election schedule, which was originally set for Friday.

According to a press release from ANFA’s Election Committee, the voting scheduled for Chaitra 13 has been suspended until further notice. The committee stated that it received a letter on Chaitra 12 from the National Sports Council (NSC) notifying ANFA of a three-month suspension starting Chaitra 11.

ANFA had recently announced an early election, which had already sparked controversy. Earlier, on Wednesday, the NSC suspended ANFA for three months, alleging that the association had ignored its directives.
