Power Outage in Belbari and Sundarharaicha on Thursday

Due to the widening of the Mahendra Highway (Asian Highway), electrical poles along the road need to be relocated, prompting a temporary power outage in several areas of Belbari and Sundarharaicha in Morang district this Thursday.

The Nepal Electricity Authority’s Belbari Distribution Center has issued a notice stating that power lines will be shut down on Falgun 7, 2082 (Thursday) for maintenance work.

Scheduled Outage Details

According to the authority, the outage will affect two feeder areas at different times:

1. 11 kV Belbari Feeder

• Time: 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM
• Affected Areas: Sundarharaicha Municipality Wards 11 and 12 (Sisaoghari, Thuppa Factory Area), areas east, south, and west of Pande Godam, Haraicha Mod south area, and all areas of Belbari Municipality Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

2. 11 kV Kerabari Feeder

• Time: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Affected Areas: All areas of Sundarharaicha Municipality Ward 10, Indrapur drinking water area, and all areas of Kerabari Rural Municipality.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly.
