Sudhan Gurung Resigns as Home Minister Amid Controversy

Sudhan Gurung has stepped down from his position as Home Minister and left the Ministry of Home Affairs. He submitted his resignation letter on Wednesday to Prime Minister Balen Shah at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

Soon after tendering his resignation, Gurung returned to the Home Ministry, where he expressed his gratitude to the staff collectively. He has now left the ministry premises in his vehicle.

His name had recently been linked to allegations of being a partner of controversial businessman Deepak Bhatt. Following widespread criticism over the issue, Gurung resigned, calling for an impartial investigation into the matter.
