Three people were injured when a bear attacked them while they were cutting grass in Simkot Rural Municipality-5, Sim.

The injured are 59-year-old Lakshya Rawat, 55-year-old Bachu Rawat, and Rajani Rawat. Bachu and Lakshya are husband and wife.

The injured are receiving treatment at Humla District Hospital, the Humla District Police Office said.

DSP Shankar Pokharel from Humla Hospital said Lakshya was hurt on the head, Bachu on her right hand and cheek, and Rajani on her chest.
