IPL 2026 Full League Schedule Announced, Opening Match RCB vs SRH

The full schedule for the league stage of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has been released. Previously, only the first 20 matches had been announced, but now the remaining games have also been made public.

The tournament will open on March 28 with last season’s champions, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), facing off against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The first phase will feature 20 matches played from March 28 to April 11.

The second phase will run from April 13 to May 24, with 50 matches scheduled across 12 Indian cities: Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dharamshala, Raipur, and New Chandigarh.

This phase will also include eight double-header days, where two matches will be played on the same day. Afternoon games will start at 3:45 PM NPT, while evening games will begin at 7:45 PM NPT.

RCB will host some of its “home” games in Raipur, while Punjab Kings will use Dharamshala and New Chandigarh as their home venues. A special match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings will take place on May 11 in Dharamshala, a fixture that had been disrupted in the previous season.

The locations for the playoff matches have not yet been announced, while the final is scheduled for May 31.
