Two Matches Scheduled for NPL Super Saturday

Two exciting cricket matches are taking place today as part of “Super Saturday” in the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL).

The first match will feature the Karnali Yaks playing against the Lumbini Lions. The game is scheduled to start at 11:15 AM at the TU Cricket Stadium.

Karnali lost their first match to the Chitwan Rhinos, while Lumbini won against Chitwan. Karnali is hoping to get their first victory today, while Lumbini is aiming for a second straight win. In the last season, Karnali defeated Lumbini by 5 runs.

The second match of the day will be between the Kathmandu Gurkhas and the Biratnagar Kings. This game will begin at 3:30 PM.

Kathmandu has played two games so far. They beat the Janakpur Bolts in their first game but lost to the Sudurpaschim Royals in the second. This is Biratnagar’s second match. They secured an easy win against the Pokhara Avengers in their opener. In the previous season, Kathmandu won a thrilling match against Biratnagar by just 1 wicket.

Currently, the Sudurpaschim Royals are at the top of the table with 4 points from two wins. Biratnagar, Lumbini, Chitwan, and Kathmandu each have one win and are ranked second through fifth respectively.
