Body Found in Rekha River, Birtamod, Two Held

After a body was found in Rekha River near Miyabari, Birtamod Municipality-7, police arrested two people and started an investigation.

The body of 52-year-old Anand Chaudhary from Birtamod-6 was found by locals last night, who then informed the police.

Bijay Shrestha, Deputy Superintendent of Police at Anarmani Police Office, said the police team reached the scene soon after receiving the information.

The police completed legal procedures at night and sent the body to Provincial Hospital Bhadrapur for a post-mortem.

During the investigation, police took 48-year-old Puran Chaudhary and 32-year-old Shyam Chaudhary, both from the same area, into custody.
