Manager Found Murdered at Water Plant in Bara

The body of a manager working at a water industry in Prasauni, Bara, has been discovered with his throat slit. The deceased was identified as Ram Naresh Singh, 42, a permanent resident of Dhanakaul, Sarlahi, who was employed at Kiran Beverage Nepal Pvt. Ltd. in Bhaluhi, Prasauni Rural Municipality-6.

The victim’s body was found in a ditch near the Bhaluhi Chowk, which is located on the Birgunj-Kalaiya road section. Local residents discovered the body this morning and immediately informed the police. Preliminary assessment by the police suggests the murder may have taken place on Thursday night, based on the condition of the body.

Police are investigating the possibility that the manager was murdered inside the industry premises, as the discovery site is adjacent to the water plant where he worked, and his body was subsequently disposed of outside.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bijay Raj Pandit, Spokesperson for the Bara District Police Office, confirmed the incident and stated that the body of the deceased has been sent to the District Hospital in Kalaiya for a post-mortem examination. DSP Pandit added that further investigation into the murder is actively underway.
