Man Arrested With Brown Heroin in Kailali

A young man has been arrested with brown heroin in Badaipur, Gauriganga Municipality, Kailali.

Based on information about drug activity in Badaipur Bazaar, police arrested 29-year-old Manoj Basnet with 19 grams and 760 milligrams of brown heroin.

According to the Malakheti Area Police Office, Basnet was found using heroin around 8 PM on Wednesday. Police took him into custody immediately.

Afterward, police searched his house and room, where they found the hidden heroin. They also recovered Rs 5,895 in cash, a weighing scale, and a scooter (registration number Be 4 Pa 2375) used by Basnet.

He has been kept in custody at the Malakheti Area Police Office for further investigation and legal action.
