ASIs Pushkar Karki Arrested for Killing His 4-Month-Old Son

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Nepal Police, Pushkar Karki, has been arrested for allegedly killing his four-month-old son.

According to Kathmandu District Police spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Karki killed his baby at his room in Sinamangal, Kathmandu, and then tried to run away. Police arrested him from Nagdhunga while he was fleeing.

SP Bhattarai said, “We arrested ASI Karki from Nagdhunga after he escaped following the murder of his son. Further investigation is ongoing.”

Police stated that Karki killed his infant son by pressing his neck. The reason behind the murder has not been revealed yet and will be known only after the investigation.
