Indian Man Arrested in Bara With Drugs

Police in Bara have arrested an Indian citizen for possessing banned drugs.

The person arrested is Mohammad Imran, a 32-year-old man from Harpur Panchayat-12 in Motihari district, Bihar.

According to Bara Police Chief SP Narendra Kunwar, Imran was arrested on Wednesday at around 3:30 PM from Batam Chowk in Bishrampur Rural Municipality-1.

A police team from the Chhatwa Police Office stopped and checked him while he was riding a motorcycle with the number plate BR 05 AM 6152.

From Imran’s bag, police recovered 620 tablets of Alprazolam 1 mg and 780 tablets of Alprazolam 0.5 mg.

He is currently in police custody in Chhatwa while the investigation continues.
