Jahada Murder: Elder Brother Runs Away After Killing brother

In Morang’s Jahada, a man has killed his younger brother and then run away.

In Jahada Rural Municipality–7, Tarigama, 28-year-old Shrawan Kumar Sah was attacked with a sharp weapon by his elder brother, Raj Kumar Sah. Police say the brothers had a small household dispute, and during the argument, the elder brother killed Shrawan and escaped to India.

According to Police Inspector Lekhnath Dahal of the Morang District Police Office, the attack happened on Wednesday night during a minor quarrel.

Shrawan, who was seriously injured, was taken to Birat Teaching Hospital. He died during treatment.

The incident site is only about 100 meters away from the Indian border. After killing his brother, Raj Kumar fled toward India. The police said both Shrawan and Raj Kumar were sons of the same father from his elder wife.

Police are continuing further investigation into the case.
