Woman Killed Rautahat

A woman died after being trapped under her house that collapsed during a windstorm in Rautahat on Monday evening.

The deceased has been identified as 35 year old Phulkumari Devi of Dhamauratol in Brindaban Municipality Ward No. 7.

According to acting information officer at the District Police Office, Rohit Kumar Sharma Barhai, Phulkumari died while undergoing treatment at Better Nepal Hospital late Monday night.

Police said the strong windstorm caused the single storey mud house, which had a tiled roof and bamboo walls, to collapse, trapping her underneath.
